Every year, 20 billion shoes are purchased worldwide: 95% of them are incinerated or thrown into landfill at the end of their life. Pollution is such that the textile industry is the second most polluting industry in the world, after the oil industry.

The 2nd Life program tries at its level to move the lines.
By offering you a simple and rewarding way to recycle your pairs at the end of their life, you are helping to limit the number of shoes that end up in landfills, are incinerated and therefore pollute the environment.
Our program exists today for pairs sent from Metropolitan France only.

We recycle them
Once received by our recycling partner Gebetex, a family business located in Normandy since 2015, your pair goes to the sorting center.
We transform them
The fabrics and materials are then redirected to the best possible channel: second hand, industrial rags, fraying for recycled material, CSR).
